I was quiet shocked when i read Digg for sale at Techcrunch for $300 Million. But anyways, this news is true and confirmed, Digg is one of the famous bookmarking site on the internet today, I also use digg for latest news and other upcoming gossips and others i’m quiet sure that they also use Digg for their time-pass and as an information portal. 
According to my calculation, $300 Million = $75 / Registered user and ~250 Million Pageviews / Month.
Digg is a stable of social bookmarking website and day by day it is getting a huge jump in visitors, However there were some rumors about the selling:
- In 2006, $20 - $30 Million deals between Kevin and Yahoo but until now there is no news.
- End of 2006, Kevin was offered a $100 Million deal but they asked for $130 Million. (1.3 Million users)
- Couple of months back, the asking price went up to a $200 Million. No pitch being heard.
- It’s Confirm - $300 Million and will be sold.
With the fast growing traffic, heavy pageviews monthly and other features, who knows that who will buy Digg and will shock the world!
